Our Impact

The 2024 Annual Activity Report tells the story of our community’s growth, the challenges we have faced, and the impact we have generated in tackling educational inequality in Italy.

In the 2024–25 school year alone, we reached over 6,100 students across 72 schools located in complex and disadvantaged contexts throughout Italy—the highest number in our history. This milestone speaks not only of growth, but above all of trust and responsibility.

2024 has also been the year in which Teach For Italy significantly strengthened its role in vocational education, launching partnerships with technical institutes and vocational training centers in several Italian regions.

We launched our “Modello Sud e Isole”, an innovative initiative designed to directly address educational poverty and early school leaving. The project began in six schools across Sicily and Sardinia, marking the first step of a strategic expansion aimed at creating impact in the areas of the country most affected by educational inequality.

In 2024, thanks to the support of all our stakeholders, our program grew further, with an increase in our operating budget reaching €1,400,000—a figure that reflects our ongoing and growing investment in people: staff, Fellows, Alumni, and schools.

But there is more. Our Alumni community—those who have completed the program as Fellows—continues to grow and this year will reach the significant milestone of 100 members.

In 2025, Teach For Italy turns five. It will be a special year, as we look to the future with vision and determination, ready to expand our impact, reach new school communities, and strengthen a national movement for educational equity.
